This release adds three new features and includes performance improvements, admin fixes, and security hardening across the portal.

Static Subform Support

Zoho CRM's static subforms are now fully supported in ZPortals, in both the admin layout builder and the portal front-end.

Static subform on the portal front-end

Unlike regular subforms where users can freely add and remove rows, static subforms have predefined, fixed rows. This makes them ideal for things like KYC checklists, compliance documents, and fixed line items. In the portal, rows appear as read-only labels with editable input fields beside them.

In the admin layout builder, static subforms work just like regular subforms. Drag them into your layouts with no extra setup. If you're already using static subforms in Zoho CRM, they'll appear in your portal automatically after updating.

Zoho Sign Direct Integration

Portal users can now sign documents without leaving the portal, thanks to a new direct Zoho Sign integration.

Zoho Sign document list

Documents open in an embedded signing modal right inside the portal. Completed documents are available for instant download as PDF. Only authorized recipients can view and sign their documents, and sign buttons only appear when a document is actually ready for signing.

Login Page Customization

Full control over the look and feel of your login, sign-up, and password reset pages.

Choose from three layout options: a centered card, a split-screen with a branded image panel, or a full-width layout. From there, customize backgrounds, card styling, button and input colors, logo placement, welcome text, and more. Everything you need to make your portal login match your brand.

Performance, Polish & Stability

Beyond the new features, this release brings meaningful improvements to speed, usability, and reliability.

Portal pages now load noticeably faster. We reduced redundant data requests, added smarter caching, and removed background operations that were silently adding delay to every page load. The difference is especially noticeable on portals with heavy traffic.

The admin layout builder also received several quality-of-life fixes: field search now filters correctly, the active tab is visually distinct, and saving no longer triggers a browser "Leave site?" warning.

We've also strengthened security across the portal and made Zoho API connections more resilient, with automatic recovery from temporary service interruptions. This release includes dozens of additional bug fixes and stability improvements.
